Mission Teams
The Mission Liaison/Spiritual Guide is typically responsible for recruiting Mission Team members. Keep in mind that the Alpha Team from the receiving parish will be part of the Mission Team, so only 12-18 team members are needed.
The Regional Support Team will identify from which parish Mission Team members will come. Mission Team members need to have experienced a retreat weekend, so start with the parish list of those who have attended a parish retreat. Personal invitations and emails work best, especially if the pastor at the receiving parish has asked for the Mission Team to meet a certain demographic to match that of the receiving parish (for instance, a young parish might prefer to have a younger Mission Team.)
